The LPNHE Laboratory (Paris) and the Subatech Laboratory (Nantes) have immediate openings for two postdoctoral appointments for work on XENON1T experiment during two years.
XENON1T is a ton scale double phase liquid xenon TPC with the aim of directly discovering Dark Matter particles. Our group’s technical interests include a solid astroparticle physics background, good computing skills, experience on data treatment and analysis. The successful applicants will be member of XENON Collaboration and will take part of all its activities, from data taking to data analysis, and Monte Carlo
simulations. They will be also involved on the design, construction and commissioning of a new xenon storage system that is required for the XENON1T upgrade, XENONnT.
We welcome highly motivated applicants having a Ph.D. in particle physics or who are expecting a Ph.D. before starting the position. Applicants should submit with their motivation letter a curriculum vitae and a list of publications, and have three letters of recommendation sent to Dr. Carla Macolino (firstname.lastname@example.org)), Dr. Luca Scotto Lavina (email@example.com) and Dr. Dominique Thers (firstname.lastname@example.org) by electronic submission.
