Description:
Applications are invited for the position of postdoctoral research assistant to work in Space Plasma Physics on the STFC-funded project “Turbulence, Shocks and Dissipation in the Solar Wind”, working with Prof. David Burgess.
This position will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to become part of an active research team focused on simulations of space plasmas. The position is full-time and fixed-term for a period of 2 years. The starting salary will be in the range of £32,405 - £36,064 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
