The selected candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Franco Vazza and Prof. Daniele Dallacasa within the ERC funded project “MAGCOW- The Magnetised Cosmic Web” ( http://cosmosimfrazza.myfreesites.net/magcow ).The PhD candidate will develop a unique expertise in observing and interpreting polarised radio data with the goal of studying magnetic fields in intergalactic filaments. Candidates with a strong background in physics, astrophysics and radio astronomy are encouraged to apply.
