Center for Theoretical Physics of the Universe (CTPU) - Particle Theory & Cosmology Group at the Institute for Basic Science (IBS) in Korea invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in particle physics phenomenology starting September in 2017. We are particularly interested in the candidates with expertise in physics beyond the standard model with an emphasis on the astroparticle or cosmology implications.
IBS (http://www.ibs.re.kr/en/) is a government-funded research institute in Korea, aiming to construct a global base for basic science research and cultivate the next generation of research leaders. CTPU (http://ctpu.ibs.re.kr/) - Particle Theory & Cosmology Group is a rapidly growing group currently consisting of 6 faculty members (Kiwoon Choi, Kyu Jung Bae, Sanghyeon Chang, Kenji Kadota, Hye-Sung Lee, and Myeonghun Park) and 16 postdoctoral research fellows. The interests of our group cover broad areas of high energy physics and cosmology.
Applications should consist of a CV, a publication list, a research statement and three or more letters of recommendation, and be submitted through Academic Jobs Online. The search is open until the position is filled, but for full considerations, please submit the application and letters by June 21, 2017.
